A New Year Blessing

During my time off for the holidays, I spent some time reflecting on this past year, the year ahead, and even you. As I thought about you, several things began to stir in my heart. So as you journey into 2022, I pray that you would receive this prayer and new year blessing I’ve written for you.

May your heart be filled with praise to God for His faithfulness and the ways He kept you in 2023.  May you find joy in the sweet memories you created and shared with others as well as everything you accomplished last year.  And as you set your goals and intentions for this year, may your greatest pursuit be Jesus. May you create room for Him in every area of your life and make Him your number one priority.

May you leave room in your plans for the unexpected and those that God has for you. May you seek His kingdom first and pursue His purpose with your whole heart. May you seek God for wisdom and discernment in every area of your life.  And as you seek Him for direction, may He brighten your path and guide your footsteps ever so clearly.

May God’s presence become the place you yearn for. And as you devote time in His presence, may you receive everything you need. May your heart be comforted. May your spirit be strengthened. May your mind be renewed. May you receive direction, clarity and answers. May you experience the fullness of God’s love, peace and joy.

May your mind, body and soul find rest in the One who refreshes and restores.  May you learn to cease fighting in your own strength and lay every burden at the feet of Jesus in exchange for His peace. When difficult seasons come, may you remain anchored in your faith. May your faith drown every doubt and fear and give you the confidence to declare what will be despite your current circumstances. May you emerge out of difficult seasons stronger, wiser, and more resilient.

May you grow strong in the areas you desire. May you spend time nourishing the parts of you that need healing. May you cultivate better habits. May you develop your character. May your faith grow stronger. May your prayer life grow stronger, and may you boldly declare the Word of God and His promises over your life.

May you create space in your life to rest. To breathe. To exhale. To unplug. (Pause right now to take a few deep breaths.) May rest become a priority and something you do unapologetically.  May you grow more comfortable saying “no” so that you have more capacity to say “yes” to the things and people most important to you. May you grow more comfortable communicating and honoring your boundaries. May the time you devote to refilling your cup enable you to better serve yourself and those around you. May you slow down to become more present and aware of the beautiful gifts of life surrounding you. May you discover what fuels your soul and make time to enjoy those things.

May you step outside of your comfort zone. May new doors of opportunity open for you. May you go after your dreams and goals wholeheartedly. May you grow in discipline and consistency. May your WHY fuel you and outweigh the feelings that tempt you to become stagnant. May fear, perfectionism, and procrastination lose their grip on you. May you walk in your purpose and calling bolder than ever before. May you use your voice, gifts, and influence to positively impact those around you. May God anoint you for all that He has called you to do. May you step into a new rhythm of grace.

May you grow in confidence. May self-limiting beliefs and the lies of the enemy take a back seat. May you be kind and gracious to yourself. May you fall deeper in love with yourself. May you fully embrace who you are and find freedom in being you.  May comparison no longer rob you of joy and contentment; and may it no longer district you from seeing the beauty in you and your own life.

May your community grow stronger. May your relationships be rich and loving. May the bonds between you and your loved ones grow stronger. May you find the courage to love as well as forgive, when needed.

May you walk in confidence and authority as a child of God. May God bless your relationships, your family, and everyone connected to you.  May He protect you. May He supply your every need. May His favor follow you every day of your life. May you experience breakthroughs and miracles in the areas needed in your life. May you live life more abundantly. And as you delight yourself in the Lord, may He give you the desires of your heart.

May your life bring glory to God and be pleasing to Him. May you live in service to others. May you live generously. May God’s light shine brightly through you. May His love flow freely through you. May others experience Jesus when they encounter you.

May this year be fruitful and reflect the vision that you have for yourself – personally, professionally and relationally.

With love,

Imanne
